“It’s entirely outrageous, disorientating, irresponsible, and also brilliant.”
★★★★★
- Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

“This is a retro tour de force inhabiting a fully realised world of popular culture - TV, movies, pop music and yes, pulp fiction.”
★★★★★
- Ed Potton, Times

“Tarantino's ode to pre-Manson LA is pure movie-world intoxication.”
★★★★★
- Robbie Collin, The Telegraph

“Quentin being Quentin, there will be blood (and guts), but this version of Hollywood is built on heart and soul. .”
★★★★★
- Terry Staunton, Radio Times

“Tarantino's 9th feature is his most pared back, thoughtful and perhaps personal work to date.”
★★★★★
- Hannah Woodhead, Little White Lies

“This is QT at his best: original, unexpected and delightful.”
★★★★
- Ian Freer, Empire

“The whole thing is so unashamedly soaked in nostalgia, it could be eye-rolling, but Pitt and DiCaprio carry it off with so much warmth, good humour and just enough knowingness, that it's impossible to resist.”
★★★★
- Raphael Abraham, Financial Times

“Dream territory for moviedom’s most cine-obsessed storyteller.”
★★★★
- Jordan Farley, Total Film

“It sits at the mature end of Tarantino's work, bringing his tongue-in-cheek storytelling together with exquisite movie craft and killer lead performances from Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.”
★★★★
- Dave Calhoun, Time Out

Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.
