What kind of private hire events can be held at the Olympic?

We pride ourselves on being able to accommodate more or less any request - large or small. Our cinema screens, full time chefs, experienced waiting and bar staff can be utilised to create a unique cinema experience with your food and drink needs all housed under the same roof. To date we have hosted events such as film and music premieres, press junkets, location shoots, album launches and Q&A's for film, television, music and media companies. We have accommodated a range of corporate away-days, company anniversary and Christmas parties, through to smaller business presentations and family get-togethers including birthday parties and wedding celebrations.




What are the food and drink options?

Our Café & Dining Room on the ground floor is open 7 days a week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our full-time team of chefs can also create bespoke menus for your event.

Should you prefer popcorn, home-made ice cream and snacks, our sweet shop is available day and night. Screens 2 has a pop-up bar that can be stocked with cocktails, wines and beers or soft drinks and sweet-shop treats which can be consumed at your cinema seat.

What options are available for children's parties?

We offer a children's party package which includes juice, popcorn, packed lunch and cupcake with a film of your choice. £37.50 per head.

What spaces can be hired privately?

We currently have 2 cinemas:
Screen 1 seating up to 130
Screen 2, seating up to 73
both are available for exclusive hire at certain times.

Our Café & Dining Room can be taken over exclusively for up to 110 people for seated dining, or for up to 130 people party-style.

The 'Music Room', our function room, can be hired exclusively for up to 50 standing, 24 for dinner or 40 theatre style (for a gig etc). This space can also be used as a green-room or 'break-out' space.

10-seat board-room also available.

Any combination of the above spaces can be mixed.

Our Members' Club cannot be hired exclusively, although members can book areas within it for dinner or drinks parties. The space can also be utilised for corporate cinema private hire.




How much does it cost to hire the cinema screens exclusively?

Screen 1 - From £450 per hour (minimum 2 hour hire).

Screen 2 - From £300 per hour (minimum 2 hour hire).
